IIMAA/WBA
International Power Breaking Championships-
This
competition is being presented in conjunction with the
United States and
World Breaking Associations. Competition is open to all adult competitors 18 and over. There will
be 4 divisions: Men’s Lightweight, Men’s Heavyweight, Women’s
Lightweight and Women’s Heavyweight. Materials used will be: Men-
Standard concrete patio blocks measuring 2” X 8” X 16; Women-
Standard USBA/WBA
boards measuring 1” X 10” X 12” (materials must be ordered through
the IIMAA Training Conference. All materials will be shipped to the
venue. Competitors should order enough materials to facilitate their
breaks for the qualifiers, additional materials will be provided for
finalists). Stands to raise materials of the floor will be provided.
Winners will earn the title of “IIMAA/WBA International Power
Breaking Champion”, and the marketing and promotional opportunities
that go along with the title.
Prize Money and
Awards-
Winners of each division will receive a cash prize of
$1200 (based on full class), official documentation suitable for framing, and an official
trophy commemorating the event.
USBA/WBA
Sanctioned-
This event is
USBA/WBA
sanctioned and follows general USBA/WBA guidelines. Because it is a limited
event no points will be awarded to members.

- Carpenter
Pencil Spacers will be provided and used to space materials.
- All strikes will be downward
strikes, one strike per attempt.
- Materials will
be set on floor and must be purchased through the conference (you
may purchase materials during registration). Standard concrete blocks, 8" X 8" X 16"
(provided), may be used to raise materials to the competitor's
preferred level.
- Competitors
will have a maximum of 8 minutes to set-up and clean-up their
station. If the competitor runs over time a penalty will be given.

- Patio blocks
and boards must be purchased from IIMAA supply committee.

Each competitor will be required to break in 2
categories: Upper Body and Lower Body.

Upper body allowed strikes: any hand, arm, or
elbow strike.

Lower body allowed strikes: any downward foot
strike.
- The total
amount of patio blocks or boards broken in both categories will be
counted.
 Classes:
Men’s
Lightweight- 199.9lbs and under; Men’s Heavyweight- 200lbs and over;
Women’s Lightweight- 150.9 and under; Women’s Heavyweight- 151lbs
and over.

Materials:
All competitors must purchase materials through IIMAA
supply committee for Friday qualifiers. Blocks and boards for the
final round will be provided for Saturday finals. You may order
materials in the registration area.
Qualifiers:
Qualifiers
will be held starting Friday at 3pm. The top ten competitors
breaking the most patio blocks or wood boards in each class,
total of both categories, from the qualifiers will compete Saturday
morning for the title of “IIMAA/WBA International Power Breaking
Champion”.

$105
entry fee includes general admission. Limited to the first
50 competitors per class from around the World.
