IIMAA World’s
Hardest Hand Strike Competition-
This
competition is open to all adult competitors 18 and over. There will
be 3 divisions: Men’s Lightweight, Men’s Heavyweight and Women’s
Open. Using specially designed measuring equipment participants will
compete for the title of “World’s Hardest Hand Strike”, and the
marketing and promotional opportunities that go along with the
title.
Prize Money and
Awards-
Winners of each division will receive a cash prize of
$1000 (based on full class), official documentation suitable for framing, and an official
trophy commemorating the event.
Competition basics-
- Competitors
will be positioned no more than 48 inches in front of a specially designed machine.
- Competitor has
the opportunity to move forward into the strike.
- Any hand strike
may be used; i.e.: punch, chop, ridge-hand, hammer fist, etc.
- Competitor will
have 2 attempts to produce the hardest strike possible. The better
of the 2 attempts will be used.
- Competitors
are not required to move forward into the strike, but can do so if
preferred.
The starting point will be no more than 4 feet in front of the
striking surface, measured from the front foot.
The striking surface will be approx. 52 inches off the floor.

- Once the
striking surface is struck the attempt will count.
- In the event of
a tie, tied competitors will compete again until a winner is
determined.
Classes:
Men’s
Lightweight- 199.9lbs and under; Men’s Heavyweight- 200lbs and over;
Women’s Open
Start Time:
12pm- Saturday, July 17, 2010
Qualifiers:
Qualifiers
will be held starting Saturday at 12pm. The top ten competitors with
the hardest strike in each class from the qualifiers will compete
Sunday morning for the title of “World’s Hardest Hand Strike”.
Registration:
$105
entry fee includes general admission. Limited to the first
50 competitors per class from around the World.
